The Parkinson’s Disease Foundation (PDF) is committed to using your dollars responsibly and efficiently in our mission to fund the most promising Parkinson’s research to find the causes of and a cure for Parkinson's while supporting the nearly one million people in the US who live with the disease.

PDF was founded in 1957 to advance research into the cause(s) of and a cure for Parkinson's and to assist those who live with the disease. The PDF Story: 1957-2007 describes our history, the research progress we have seen in the last 50 years and how PDF intends to continue and accelerate our work to advance treatments and find a cure.
