The Parkinson's Disease Foundation warmly welcomes two new members to its Board of Directors: Constance Woodruff Atwell, Ph.D. and Arlene Levine.

Dr. Atwell recently retired as the Director, Division of Extramural Research NIH/NINDS, a pivotal position in which she was responsible for disbursing more than $1 billion of research grants each year. Dr. Atwell is a graduate of Mt. Holyoke College and holds master's and doctoral degrees from UCLA. She is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Society for Neuroscience and the Association for Women in Science. Dr. Atwell lives in Pinehurst, NC, with her husband, Patrick Morris, and has five children.

Ms. Levine has been supportive of charitable causes for many years, including serving as Chair of the Fund for Women and Girls Philanthropic Breakfast of the New York Community Trust of Westchester County, New York. She also served on the PDF 2004 Spring Gala Committee. Ms. Levine holds a bachelor's degree from New York University and an MBA from Fordham University. She lives in Scarsdale, NY, with her husband Jerome, and has two children.

PDF is pleased have these gifted women join its multi-talented board.
