PDF Champions: 5K for Parkinson's (OH)

PDF Champions Melanie Lewis and Tammy Johnson in partnership with the PDF Champions program. PDF Champions are some of the dedicated individuals who give their time and energy to raise awareness for Parkinson’s and funds for PDF in their local communities.
- What:
Join Melanie Lewis, Tammy Johnson and the National Technical Honor Society of Beckfield College - Tri County campus as they host a 5K Run/Walk to bring the community together and raise awareness about Parkinson's disease. Donations will be accepted at the 5K to benefit PDF. Ms. Johnson helped organize the 5K fundraiser to honor her mother and cousin who live with Parkinson's.
Registration to participate in the 5K Run/Walk is free, though participants are encouraged to donate. Registration begins at 10:00 AM and the run will kickoff at 11:00 AM, followed by a celebratory picnic in the afternoon. Participants may bring food items for the picnic.
