What:

The ALS and Parkinson's disease day is one of five symposia comprising the 40-hour Advanced Course in Geriatric and Palliative Care for Frontline Primary Care Providers and is an exciting educational opportunity for providers to gain expertise in interdisciplinary care for ALS Disease and Parkinson’s Disease.  Topics related to gait assessment,  falls, and community resources for patients with neurodegenerative diseases will also be covered.  This symposium is part of the CME course, “The Advanced Course in Geriatrics and Palliative Care for Frontline Primary Care Providers.”

It is free for VA providers and will take place on 2 different dates (March 11 and 17) at 2 different VA sites (Bronx [Mar. 11] and Manhattan [Mar. 17]).
