PDF's 50th Anniversary Sympsoium is an educational webcast for people with PD, caregivers and family members and health professionals.  The live program was presented in New York, where three leading Parkinson's scientistists discussed the role of genetics in Parkinson's disease and the newest potential treatments under investigation, such as gene therapy and stem cells.

The Parkinson's Disease Foundation (PDF) is proud to webcast our 50th Anniversary Educational Symposium: Frontiers of Science and Clinical Advances in Quality of Life. This unique event, which was held Thursday and Friday, October 11-12, 2007, featured 43 top-notch Parkinson's professionals presenting the latest in Parkinson's science and quality of life initiatives. The program, which ran in two parallel tracks, looks at the progress that has been made over the last 10 years and where we expect to see future advances.
