Finding your way around the Community

Unlike most specialized-disease fields, Parkinson's is served not by one but several not-for-profit organizations concerned with research, advocacy and service. Each has its own character, history and orientation. All are supported principally by public contributions, in such forms as general gifts, membership dues and subscriptions.

The following is a list of the major national organizations and specialized groups serving the Parkinson's community, each with address, telephone number and the name of the chief executive officer, followed by a list of relevent internet links in the Parkinson's field. Each organization provides information to the public upon request. Most services are free of charge.
